We take the environment we work, live and play in seriously and we recognise we have to tread lightly to ensure we leave it in the best condition possible for the generations to come. As a photographic and media agency working internationally, we understand that we cannot eliminate our carbon footprint entirely, but we can act responsibly and work to minimise it to the best of our ability.
Specifically, here at Agence Dix Sept, we have implemented the following processes to limit our impact on the world we share :
- Our website is hosted at a green hosting centre where 100% of the power used is green and from renewable sources.
- Our office power is provided by Octopus Energy and is 100% green and from renewable sources with 87% being produced locally to us – and we actively monitor our use daily.
- We ‘turn off’ our office every day – every power socket and light in our office turns off automatically outside core working hours.
- We have lots of solar panels – we run our office on solar whenever we can. When we produce too much it goes into batteries for later and if we’re still producing after that, we send it to the grid to power other businesses and homes.
- We travel to all events by the most eco-friendly method possible – we have been know to cycle to local events! In general however we use low-carbon vehicles (including EVs, which we charge from our solar) and airlines that offset their carbon outputs for international journeys. Wherever possible, we combine journeys to limit the number of vehicles we use and if we have to rent vehicles, we request EV/Hybrid vehicles from all our rental car partners.
- We reuse whatever we can, if we can’t reuse it, we recycle it (even the food waste goes into the office dog!), if we can’t recycle it we save it up and take it to the waste disposal next time we are passing, again, limiting our journeys.
We know we can’t solve the world’s problems on our own, but if we all do a little bit it will make a huge difference.

Notre engagement pour la planète
Chez Agence Dix Sept, nous prenons très à cœur l’environnement dans lequel nous travaillons, vivons et nous divertissons. Nous savons qu’il est essentiel d’agir avec responsabilité pour préserver notre monde pour les générations futures.
En tant qu’agence photo et média à portée internationale, nous ne pouvons pas éliminer totalement notre empreinte carbone — mais nous pouvons la réduire au maximum grâce à des choix réfléchis.
Voici ce que nous avons mis en place pour limiter notre impact :

Hébergement web vert : notre site est hébergé dans un centre alimenté à 100% par de l’énergie renouvelable.

Bureaux alimentés en énergie verte : grâce à Octopus Energy, notre électricité est 100% verte, dont 87% produite localement. Nous suivons notre consommation quotidiennement.

Extinction automatique : en dehors des heures de bureau, toutes les prises et lumières sont automatiquement coupées.

Production solaire locale : nos panneaux solaires alimentent nos bureaux. Le surplus est stocké ou réinjecté dans le réseau.

Déplacements écoresponsables : nous privilégions les modes de transport les plus durables — vélo pour les événements locaux, véhicules électriques (rechargés grâce à notre solaire), compagnies aériennes qui compensent leurs émissions. Nous regroupons nos déplacements et optons pour des véhicules hybrides ou électriques en location.

Réduction des déchets : nous réutilisons tout ce qui peut l’être, recyclons le reste (y compris les restes pour notre chien de bureau !), et déposons les déchets non recyclables lors de trajets déjà prévus.
Nous savons que nous ne pouvons pas changer le monde seuls, mais si chacun fait sa part, ensemble, nous pouvons faire une réelle différence.
